ELARISART STUDIO

Sha

Where texture, movement and change remain visible.

Sha is the artist behind Elaris Art Studio. Her paintings are built through layers, interruptions and subtle shifts in surface, allowing each work to carry the memory of its own making. Rawness is held alongside restraint, creating compositions that feel open, tactile and quietly evolving.

THE PRACTICE

What remains is part of the work.

Sha’s paintings are built through repetition, layering and change. Gestures move across the surface, disappear beneath new marks and return in altered forms.

The work does not hide its own history. Texture, interruption and irregularity remain visible, giving each composition a sense of depth that feels both instinctive and deliberate.

Each painting holds the trace of what came before, allowing the surface to feel lived, evolving and open rather than perfectly resolved.

A VISUAL LANGUAGE

Gesture, surface and trace.

The work moves through contrast, rhythm and atmosphere, holding a shifting balance between movement and stillness, density and space. Texture becomes part of the visual language itself, while subtle marks and fragments remain within each composition, giving the work a sense of depth, continuity and change.

ARTIST STATEMENT

“I’m drawn to the space between intention and accident.”
