Personal, collaborative and carefully resolved.
The commission process begins with the space and the feeling you want the work to hold. Scale, palette, orientation and placement are discussed before the direction is confirmed. The final piece is then created through Sha’s studio process, with room for the work to develop naturally rather than becoming a reproduction of an existing painting.
Palette
Colour direction can respond to the space while preserving the depth, movement and atmosphere characteristic of Sha’s work.
Placement
Orientation, presentation and final delivery are considered early so the completed artwork arrives ready for its intended environment.
THE PROCESS
From enquiry to completion.
Each commission is handled individually. The studio confirms scope, timing and terms before any work begins, then keeps the process clear from first conversation through final delivery.

Conversation
Share the space, preferred dimensions, location, timing and what draws you to Sha’s work. Reference photographs of the intended setting are welcome.

Direction
The studio confirms size, orientation, palette direction, estimated completion window, pricing and commission terms before proceeding.

Creation
The artwork is created through Sha’s studio process. Any agreed progress communication is kept considered and limited so the work can develop with integrity.

Completion
Final photography, documentation, remaining payment and delivery arrangements are completed once the work has been approved for release from the studio.
